Funky bookmark

Two posts in one week :)...

In September, I went to ScrapFest Richmond Hill. I had the opportunity to do a few make and takes (aka: scrapbooking crafts). I made a bookmark very similar to the one below. I loved it so much that I bought some supplies to make another and did so for my Auntie for her birthday!

I totally love the new technique that I learned using hot glue to make fun looking blobs... then I used some Tim Holtz paint to paint the blobs brown to make a custom embellishment and a very fun looking bookmark!

Let the force be with you...

I have't posted on here forever but wanted to start sharing some of my creative works through this outlet.

This is a recent light switch cover that I created for my cousin Aidan. He recently had his room redecorated to a Star Wars theme because he is obsessed. So of course, he needed a custom light switch cover to top it all off.

For this project, I went to my local hardware store and purchased a normal light switch cover (after calling his mom to ensure I bought the correct type).

I then used my trusty Silhouette SD and software to create a design (.svg file)

I cut the design using vinyl and then placed it onto the lightswitch cover.

I then sent it to him in the mail because what six year old isn't excited to get mail :).
